HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY ANDREW!!!

Saturday we went to our friend Andrew's 3rd bday party at the park. It is so hard to believe that baby Andrew is now 3 years old. He is such a handsome, sweet boy and we love you to pieces little buddy. Hope you had a great birthday!!!

We got to see some of our new and old friends at the party and it was sooo good seeing them!! Sweet baby Katelyn was there and we got to finally meet baby John Thomas, he is so precious and so little, its crazy how fast you forget how little they start out. It was good seeing everyone and sorry again for any food my child stole from you.

EASY ENTERTAINMENT...

I have always heard that boys were easy to entertain but this is great. Harrison, Talan and I sat on old pallets and watched Matthew load up bark for customers and you would have thought we were watching a movie. If it could have only lasted a little longer.

TALAN LOVES TO BE A HELPER..

After watching us move the plants around the front yard of the Hardware Store Talan has quickly learned what to do to help. When we were up there last weekend I looked over and this is what he was doing he started moving the hydrangeas and he was serious about it to. He is a strong little fella cause for his little size that 1 gallon pot is heavy but it didn't stop him he was determined to move them from one side to the other. He drew a crowd as well everyone was just a cheering for him and you could tell he was so proud of himself. Poor little fella we've got him working at the age of 16 months.

HERE COMES TROUBLE..

Last weekend we kept Olivia and Harrison while MeLissa & Hannah were out of town and wow what a busy weekend we had. I'm not sure who was more worn out Me or the kids. Talan loved having his cousins over to play and tried his best to keep up with them but it was real hard, they are very busy!!! Needless to say we spent a lot of time outside and hanging out at the hardware store, but we sure had a great time!! We love you guys and are glad you spent the weekend with us, we'll have to do it again sometime soon.

HAWAIIAN DAY AT SCHOOL

Last week at school we celebrated the Week of the Young Child. Each day we had a different theme to dress up to and crazy me didn't get any pictures until Friday. Luckily we had a hand me down outfit from our friend Collin that was perfect for our Hawaiian day and I'm glad we wore it cause I don't think it will fit much longer.

CALLING DADDY TO TELL HIM WE'RE COMING HOME

When we leave school these days Talan picks up his cell phone and this is what he does just a talking away mostly to his daddy. I wonder where on earth he learned this. Its funny what they pick up from you when you don't even realize they're watching.

I have been a bad blogger these days and am trying to catch up a little so the last few posts have been from a few weeks ago but I wanted to share what has been going on with the Turner family. Its been busy here lately but its been fun so we hope everyone is doing well and life is treating you good.

TALAN'S 1ST LOLLI-POP

Talan's daddy had a lolli-pop however Talan quickly discovered it and it soon became his. He had never had a lolli-pop so it was quite an experience and quite messy. Luckily it was bath time so we weren't sticky to long.

PUCKER UP!!

This little boy loves to share his kisses. Here he kept going back and forth from Matthew and I giving us sweet kisses it was so sweet so I had to capture the moment to share.

A couple of weeks ago we went to see Ms. Edith for a much needed hair cut and 2nd time was a charm he did not like his first hair cut but this time he did much, much better. Even though it makes him look like a big boy it does look much better I have to admit. Thanks Ms Edith your the best!!

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY ANNA KATE!!!

Saturday we went to our friend Anna Kate's birthday at Fun Factory and we had such a good time. Talan loved the mini slide they had but the steering wheel on the dragon had to be his favorite of course. When it was time to go we were riding down the rode and I looked back and saw him holding on to his seat and thought it was so funny. It was like he was getting ready for the next adventure and no it was not b/c of my driving.
Happy Birthday Anna Kate we hope you had a great time, we know we did.

ME AND MY POP JIM...

Talan loves loves loves anything that has a steering wheel and a key. Here is Pop Jim made his day by riding him around and around on the lawnmower up at the store. The only bad thing is now he is no longer content just sitting on it unless it is going.

THESE TEETH ARE KILLING ME!!!

Our poor buddy has been cutting his eye teeth it seems like forever and he is finally to that point that he has had enough. He has done fairly well with all of his teeth up until now (and he has a mouth full) but these are being little boogers. Hopefully it want be to much longer and they will come on out so he can get back to normal. To all our teething buddies out there we say our prayers for you. Good Luck!!

MY BIG HELPER..

Talan loves to help around the house and putting away laundry is one of his favorites. Most of the time I get him to put the socks away due to him knowing where our socks go and he really does good well then I noticed some other things missing that I had folded and I went into our bedroom and found him trying so hard to get the towel in the drawer along with some other things. I clapped and cheered and told him what a big boy he is but when he walked away I fixed it a little, never do I want to discourage his helping I just hope it lasts.

SO SWEET!!

I had to add this one I caught this while we were walking and was surprised it turned out like it did. I know there will be a time that he won't hold my hand but now I eat it up when he does.

AFTERNOONS AT THE TURNERS

Most days after we get home from school we have a few things we can't do without. Our neighbors Jewel and Fred are a little older couple that love Talan to pieces and look forward to seeing him everyday. So we when get home we walk over to visit and Talan loves playing on their ramp,knocking on their door and playing peek a boo with Mrs Jewel. Mrs Jewel always has him a banana and if you know Talan that is one way to his heart. Then when he's done playing he walks away but not before he blows her kisses.

Then its off to play with the dogs, pretending to drive which is his favorite thing to do these days,playing ball with his mommy or whatever we can do before dinner time. Its definitly my favorite time of the day and gives me something to look forward to when I'm working during the day.

AUNT LISSA I MISS YOU!!

There is a picture of my sis MeLissa and I on our bookselves in the den and when I came into the den this is what I found. Talan had gotten the picture and was sitting there having a conversation with it and I thought how sweet he is talking to his mommy but when I looked he was pointing to his Lissa and just a squealing and saying that, that and then started kissing her which was just as sweet. Aunt Lissa Talan loves you soo much and can't wait to see you soon!!!
