SOMETIMES ITS JUST NOT TIME TO SMILE!!

This was at work the other morning it was early 6:15 and I thought he looked handsome however he was not ready to get his picture made he was hungry and not in the mood for me taking his picture.

This boy is a mess!! He has started hissing now when he wants you to help him then it turns into a squeal. His daddy says he gets that from me however I beg to differ.

8 MONTHS OLD!!

On Wednesday Talan turned the big 8 months!!! Its so hard to believe and sad to know that in only 4 months he will be a year. WOW!! How time flies when your having FUN!!

Getting so BIG!!

We have been slowly introducing the sippy cup and he has wanted nothing to do with it until the other night and he just picked it up and started drinking. Then I put some of those little puff things on his tray to see what he would do and he just picked it up and after studying it for awhile he put it in his mouth however he is not real fond of them just yet so he spit it out real fast. I am so excited for him but sad at the same time cause he is getting so big and he's only going to get bigger. The emotions us mommies go through, its amazing how we all keep it together so good!!

I made him a bag of toys for the kitchen and he loves it. Makes it lots easier to get dinner together when he is well entertained.

TRYING SO HARD TO CRAWL...

Poor little guy he is trying so hard but just hasn't got it yet. He gets so close but then just ends up on his belly which does not make him happy at all. The pictures show how he starts off then ends up flat.

DATE NIGHT WITH MY BOYS

We decided to all go out on a date Saturday night and of course had to get some pics before we left. We really underestimate our little guy he is so good and really just goes with the flow and loves being out. We just went to Wings but really had a fun time. Plus its always fun showing off our little guy cause if I do say so myself he is a cutie.

NEVER TO EARLY TO LEARN...

I am trying to teach Talan at an early age how to be a good helper. He has gotten the concept of pulling the clothes out of the basket next is how to fold which may take a little while longer to learn.

This weekend we got out our make shift pool and Talan was in heaven. This child loves the water its crazy but I am so glad!! He had a great time just splashing and playing with his toys and I actually got to look through a magazine. Excuse all the pictures but I just get carried away and then can't decide which ones to post cause I just love them all.

TALAN'S FIRST ROAD TRIP

OUR FAMILY TRIP TO TISHOMINGO

Last Thursday Matthew,Talan & I along with our good friends Rebekah,Todd & Noah headed to Tishomingo State Park where Rebekah,Todd and I grew up together going to camp with our church Fairfield Highlands. This was going to be our pastor Bro. Buck's last time to go to the camp due to his health and his age. So we loaded the families up and went on a long but rewarding day trip. I wanted Matthew to see and experience a little part of my history growing up and see where I had been talking about for all these years. If anyone has experienced church camp it is definitely something hard for others to understand if they had never been especially with our group. When we finally got there I had a wonderful feeling of home, even though things looked a lot smaller than I remembered nothing had really changed. As soon as we got there it seemed like we hit the ground running trying to keep up with all the activities that were going on we started out at the creek, went over the big and very wobbly bridge and then from there it just kept going and going. The best part was getting to see Bro. Buck and having him see our son, he started Matthew and I out on our journey of husband and wife and for him to see where we are now and being there for his last camp was a very rewarding moment for us. If anyone knows him you know what I am talking about, he just makes you feel good! So I have a lot of pictures to share some not so pretty as others due to teary eyes and the bonfire glow but ones that are very special to me. Hope you enjoy.

WHAT A SWEET SWEET DAY!!

SURPRISE!! FINALLY WE GET TO SEE THE MAN OF THE DAY!! After going to the creek we finally met up with Bro. Buck and it was so great to see him and the smile on his face when he saw all of us. He just made a fuss all over Talan and just took him and told me he would see me later and Talan just went right with him. We all sat and talked and got caught up with each other and went down memory lane retelling old stories of days at Camp. Now looking back we really had so much fun and made so many wonderful memories and how I hope and pray that our kids will have the same growing up.
