Best Buddies

Since Talan has started school he has not gotten to see his cousins like he had been so we went to visit them on Tuesday to get some lovin that he has been missin. These two are so sweet together and I do believe that have missed each other more than they realized.

Wow,how fast he has change!!

1 month, 2 months, 3 months and now Talan is 4 months old and I can't believe it. Everyone always tells you how fast they grow but looking back on his pictures I realize how true that is!! He started off so little but he has definitly caught up!! It has been a wonderful 4 months and we our amazed everyday at what this little guy does!! God is so Good!!

Talan's first buggy ride!!

On Friday Mrs. Becky took Talan on his very first buggy ride and he loved it!! This is a good way to get the babies out of their room so they can explore and see whats going on outside of their room. This is one advantage of us being together I will be able to see all these fun new things he will get to do. Doesn't he look so big!!

More Naked Pictures!!

I just can't help myself, I just love naked photos!! This is what he does now at bath time he wiggles himself down in the water and then throws that arm up on the side to relax. Look at that belly, this boy does not miss a meal!!!

Talan's first day of school @ BE*Kare

On Monday Talan started school for the very first time and even though I work there it was the hardest day ever for me. Since I have to be there so early Matthew brought him and that way we could both be apart of his first day. Its so neat after all the parents I have helped get started it was our turn to be the parents. That little screen is where we sign him in and out on and when you go into the room you have to take your shoes off so that is what Matthew is doing in the picture on the bottom. I was surprised at how upset I got when we left him in his room, especially since I'm right there with him and I know everyone but let me tell you I cried like a baby. Its amazing what these little loves do to your heart, its a wonderful feeling but it hurts too. Talan had a much better time dealing with the change then we did and he really ended up having a good day. He was worn out by the time we left the parking lot that afternoon he was out and slept most of the afternoon. Day 1 is down in the books now and hopefully it will get better.

Talan did so good, he was the new thing in the room so all the other babies had to check him out and it didn't bother him a bit. He even slept in a big boy bed.

To end our crazy day on Saturday we went over to Pop Jim and Grandma Gerri's for Easter dinner. It was so yummy and they just couldn't get enough of our little guy. For him to have had such a busy day he did so good and even showed off by showing them how he is rolling over. He's such a good boy!! When we finally got home and in the bath by 10:30 he was out like a light and didn't wake up until 9:00 the next morning. He was one tired little fella.

A Day With Friends!!

Saturday was a very busy day!! We had two birthday parties to go to at the same time. So Lindsey and I packed up the boys and headed off. We went to Anna Kate's b'day at Chuckie Cheese first it was a lot of fun and Anna Kate was so precious. Talan was a little overwhelmed with all the lights and noise but handled it very well. Then it was off to Noah's party at the Zoo. Even though it was freezing cold and we held up the train it was fun!! Talan enjoyed his first Train ride even though he slept through it and was covered up like an eskimo and carousel ride that he was atleast awake for. I do believe I had it easy though mine was contained while Lindsey on the other hand was very busy. All in all it was a very fun day and we even had time to stop by the mall (aren't we brave)!!

Easter Egg Hunt w/ Harrison

On Friday Talan went with his Aunt Lissa and Harrison to an Easter Egg Hunt with Mrs. Leigh's preschool class. It looks weird being in sweats and looking for Easter eggs, just isn't right. I believe Talan got a little attention while they were there.

Little boys need cute things too!! I have been on a search for little boy bloomers to cover up his diaper in pictures and it was a lot harder than you would think to find but our friend Lindy found them and aren't they so cute!! Thanks Lindsey

Not real sure what it is but it looks like fun!!

Talan loves tummy time so I found this for him to explore with. He was not real sure about it at first but it didn't take long and he was just a squealing. The blue part is filled with water so its squishy when you touch it.

1st Bath in the Sink

Talan was a spit up machine on Friday and his Aunt Lissa couldn't stand it anymore she just had to bath him to get him smelling better. I told her he wasn't ready for the sink just yet and she told me to just watch. Sometimes being a new mom I think I am a little neurotic sometimes and forget she does have 3 children and knows what shes doing. And of course he was just fine.
