Matthew's Graduation from Police Academy!! Yeah its all over!!!

It was a busy/crazy 3 months but we all did it!!

I could not be more proud of my wonderful husband!!! He has gone through a lot here in the last several months and has not once let any of it get the best of him. I know I dont say it enough but I thank God for him everyday!!

Just keep him in your prayers at night for his safety as well as all men and women in service.

We are back and I am soooo excited!! With the wonderful help of one of our parents at work our computer is back and actually all new due to ours being completely dead!! We have had a lot going on and look forward to catching up with everyone!! As you can see Tatum and Talan have both grown tremedously and have accomplished great things in the last few months. I look forward to sharing and capturing memories again due to this is the only way to do so these days. Hope all is well with everyone and stay tune.

The Turner Update

Hello blogging world. Still haven't figured out my uploading picture problem and it is driving me crazy!! So heres another update on the Turner family. We are all doing really good busy busy as you all are and it seems like life is passing by way to fast! Matthew is really enjoying his new job and learns more and more each day. Talan is a month away from turing the big 3 so we are well on our way planning a bday and if I could only rent an alligator, shark and elephant I would be done but I don't think thats going to happen and that is all he says he wants so now its time to get creative. I took him to Disney on Ice today and it was so magical!! He loved it but got so sad at the end and wanted me to go get Mickey for him and I had one of those moments that I almost bought one of those crazy overpriced things that they sell but I didnt give in but I will be going to get that baby a mickey stuffed animal this weekend!! Tatum is growing like a weed!! She is sitting up like a pro and on Halloween night started crawling across the floor. Actually it was a scoot crawl but it was a crawl. We started her on cereal and stage 1 foods and even though she didn't love it like I thought she would she is getting better each day. Shes got 2 teeth and I do believe cutting another one. Her and Talan are so sweet together and love to play which is priceless to watch. They looked adorable on Halloween, Talan was a shark (thanks so much to Carrie) and Tatum was the cutest Bumble Bee ever. Hopefully I will get the whole picture thing worked out so I can show off some pictures. Hope all is well with everyone!! Take care!

Good Morning Blog world. The Turner family is alive and well just busy, busy but having lots of fun. I did something to the computer and I can no longer download my pictures and can not find any hardward from my camera to fix my problem so I have no idea what to do and have tons of pictures on my camera but can not download them. So that is one reason for my slacking the other is that life gets really busy and when I have a few minutes I hang out with my hubby. However lots of changes have happen Tatum is huge but precious and where Talan was short and chunky she is long and chunky which makes clothes buying very interesting. I have had to put her in some 12 months stuff, isnt that crazy!! She cut her first tooth last week on the bottom and is getting another on top and has done reeally well with it all just chomping on everything in sight. She rolls all over the place and has even started pushing to her knees which makes me sad, don't know if we are ready for that just yet. Talan is such a BIG boy and has the best imagination ever and keeps us all laughing. He loves, loves Frankiln and drawing on his easel. We have been working on writing our letters and numbers and he has gotten his T's, O's and H's pretty well don't ask me why those letters, well the T is understandable but the others are what he wanted to do. He is such a daddys boy and wants to know where is daddy is at all times even if he is just in the other room and his new thing to say are"You want to play with me??" and "Whew! That was some hard work" while wiping his forehead. Oh and "member?? when we did that Momma Daddy??" Matthew will be starting a new job on Monday so please keep us in your prayers. Change is good but sometimes hard to get us to so I know we will all be fine just have to get adjusted a little. I'll update about that later as well. So that is a little update about us for now and hopefully I will figure something out with my camera so I can share more pics but until then I will put some old stuff on that I never got around to. Hope all is well with everyone and we be seeing you soon.

Tatum's 4 Month Check Up

We went for Tatums check up last week and it went pretty good besides getting the shots. She is now 16lbs and is 26 1/2 inches and is off the charts on both so she is growing just fine. I knew she had grown cause she had developed a few more rolls and most of her clothes were not fitting so we have had to change out some clothes and adjust somethings so that big momma can move around better. This was about the same time Talan beefed up and we were wondering if she would and she has definitly done that and then some but we love it!! She also has started sleeping in her bed and loves it she stretches out and rolls around and the best thing is that she sleeps all night which she has been doing that since around 10 weeks which we have been so blessed with. She coos and giggles all the time and loves taking bathes with her brother and thinks he is the best thing ever. She wants to move around more and gets a little fustrated with that but the way she is growing so fast I am sure she will be getting around here soon which makes me a little nervous. I like the days of putting her in one place and her staying there. So there is a little update on Miss Tater Tot she is such a blessing and we are soo tickled to have her in our lives.

Weekend at the Hughes Lakehouse

A few weekends ago the Hughes invited us to spend the weekend at their new lakehouse and we had the best time. It was Tatum's first venture out for that long and we didn't know how she would do but she was great!! Talan had a blast and think Aiden and Austin are just great. He has been asking for them everyday since we left. It was a a very much needed time away and we enjoyed getting to spend time with friends which we need to do more often. Thank you guys for having us we had a great time.

This was both our kids first time ever on a boat and they loved it. It was the perfect nap place Talan was out I think everytime we got on. He was not to sure about the whole life jacket thing at first but he got use to it and even made sure he was extra careful using the floaty thing as his seatbelt you can never be to safe.

Tatum had fun playing with Jax and loved all the excitement from the boys it kept her busy which made her sleep very well. Poor little girl it looks like she is going to be like her momma lily white especially if she keeps the red hair.

Look at me I am getting so big!!! I have done so many new things in the last few weeks which makes my mommy & daddy sad but happy too! I can roll over from my back to my tummy to my back and I like it but get a little mad at times, after a fun weekend at the lake my parents decided it was time for me to sleep in my big bed and boy was it comfy and I can stretch out which feels so good and best of all I am talking a lot more and making sure everyone knows I am in the room. I really have been a good little girl and hope you are having fun watching me and my brother grow. We have lots more to share so stay tune for more on the Turner 4.

Talan is getting to really like to do things on his own, which we have always been very supportive of and do our best to let him do it or atleast try. Well, these days its dressing himself and at times this can be a very challenging thing especially when he doesn't want any help. So trying to explain how to put shorts on is a work in progress. Well here he came in the kitchen and said I did it and was so proud of himself so I had to take a picture but I think after a while he realized something was wrong and the next thing I found was what the bottom picture shows. I guess he said heck with the shorts and diaper I'll just get my boots.

Hello We're Back!!!

Sorry for being such a bad blogger!!! Between lighting strikes (we had 2 of them that messed up are phone and computer within 2 weeks of each other), soaking up every ounce of my maternity leave and having to go back to the dreaded work we have been really busy. We have had a wonderful summer and have lots of pictures to catch up on and a lot of growing has been going on as well. Tatum is now 3 1/2 months old and is getting bigger and bigger everyday. She sleeps through the night and eats like a little pig during the day but their are no complaints here. Talan is also growing and it makes me happy and sad at the same time. I made a comment to Matthew about thinking Talan was looking a little slimmer than normal and right after that I think everyone that saw him made comments about him slimming up and looking like such a big boy. I know that is a good thing but it still is sad seeing your babies grow up. I really have enjoyed getting to be home with him and Tatum, it has really made me view things a lot different these days. Even though some days were challenging I could get use to staying at home easily!! So anyway here we are and hopefully I can get up to date with everything we have been doing soon. Hope everyone is having a great summer as well and we will be seeing you soon.

Saturday we went to celebrate Sara's 1st birthday. Mrs. Lindsey went all out with some fun water slides for the big kids and they all loved it!! Sara was so fun to watch she didn't miss a beat and I think if they had let her she would have been down the slides as well. We had a great time and enjoyed spending a day with all our friends. Thanks and we hope you had a wonderful birthday we love you!!!

Yesterday I had sat Tatum up on the couch and ask Talan to be real safe with her sitting there and next thing I knew he was telling her all kinds of things and she was loving it. You could tell she was really studying him and trying to keep up with him but he's a little busy for her just yet. Here lately he has been more and more into her, always making sure she is o.k. if she is crying he says "I'll get her" and gives her her pacy which is so sweet and hard for him since he no longer has his. He is getting to be such a big boy and has already shown us that he is going to be such a great big brother.

2 Month Check Up

Back on the 18th we went for Tatum's 2 month check up. I ended up having to go by myself so needless to say these are all the pics I got. She had a rough time poor little girl it was her feeding time but I held her off so that she would have something to help soothe her after the shots which it did help but getting to that point was not fun for her neither for me. But it was a good visit she is now up to 12lbs and is 23 3/4 inches so much longer than her brother was at this point. It is going to be so interesting to see how she grows since she is starting so different than Talan. We are also very interested in seeing what her hair color will be. It looks like she doesn't have much then you turn her around and it is so thick in the back and it is so red but the top is more strawberry blonde so who knows. One thing for sure is that she is our little angel and we are so in love with her its crazy because that is one thing we were both so worried about, how could we love another child like we do our little guy but its there and we thank God for that everyday. We are so blessed Thank You Lord!!

Talan has been working so hard at school and at home to figure out the pedals but poor fella his legs are so short it really has not been easy for him especially at school. But after a lot of practice and determination he got it and is so proud of himself. When he gets home from school that is the first thing he tells us about is riding the trikes. Now we are going to advance to the next stage since he's got this down pat. Hooray for Talan!!

My sweet brother has been out of the town/country since right before Tatum was born and is finally home. He has been so sweet sending beautiful flowers and calling to check on us but today he finally got to hold that sweet girl and I do believe she already loves him. Madelyn got to meet her new cousin as well and she was a little unsure at first but I do believe she was not liking her daddy holding another baby more but I don't blame her I would be the same way if I hadn't seen my daddy in 2 months. He was so sweet and brought back gifts, Talan a shirt from Amsterdam and Tatum a beautiful set of the stackable dolls I can't remember the correct name for them but they are so pretty. We love the gifts but love having you back home safe and sound more!!!

First day at the pool...

Last week we headed out to the OBriens for a day at the pool, the community they live in has a very nice pool that we will be taking advantage of as much as we can until I have to go back to work. It was so nice being out of the house and having so many helpers. Talan had a blast just being with his cousins and Tatum well even though she slept the whole time we were out there she was lovin it as well. They have a very nice covered area with a fan and nice lounging chairs which was a perfect place for her so that she didn't get to hot. I promise her face is not covered up it just looks like it in this picture and she is not hot in that outfit it is real thin I didn't want any bugs to get her so I wanted her to be covered up just in case. My sister thought I was crazy but I promise she was just fine. We are so glad that summer is here and are looking forward to many more fun days like this!!

A couple of weekends ago my mom came over to watch Tatum so Talan and I could go play at the park. It was a much needed day and I am so greatful that we had that time together. I have felt so guilty not being able to just get up and go like we use to but sister is still too little to get out so these days its all about planning and asking for help which I am not good at the asking for help part but I am trying to get better at that. Anyway, Talan and I had a great time when we got there, there were 2 parties setting up so he thought we were going to a bday party and went up to one of the pavilons and starting singing Happy Bday which was so cute. The ladies setting up thought so too and were so sweet to give him a balloon which he loved!!! We also saw this hawk which I thought at any time was going to get us but he just sat there and let us watch him which Talan loved as well. The best part of the day was when we were swinging and he was just laughing and said mommy this fun, love you which made me melt. So thanks BEBE for helping so I could have some much needed one on one time with my little man.

Here is a little sneak peek of bath time with Tatum. My computer is acting up again and will not let me do more than one picture at a time so I thought I would add this one and then hopefully add more later. She has advanced from her little bear sponge to this and loves it so much more. So far she likes her bathes up until its over than she gets a little mad but she is getting better about that as well. Kody snuck in tonight when I was doing laundry and when I got back in the room this is what I found. Kody was guarding Tatum just like he does Talan whenever he is around. He was funny though cause he would not move and when I sat on the couch next to them he just looked at me like woman you better not hurt this little girl. I know chows get a bad name but they really are sweet dogs if they are raised right and if you are not messing with their owners. I know one thing for sure he will not let nothing get my babies if he has anything to do with it.

Here is Tatum at 5 weeks, I almost forgot to take her pics and already had her dressed so I decided to go with an Alabama theme this time. I tried to get the same look each week but I don't think I have been doing to well. Oh well her daddy liked it, she just needed a little red bow and it would have been perfect. Bows are something I am going to have to get better with!!!

Here is sweet girl at 4 weeks. Her belly looks so big in these pics. She is definitly much longer than her brother at this stage and is already out of most newborn clothes and we moved out of the newborn diapers as well. She is still so tiny to me though but I know shes growing she just has skinny little limbs.

Talan as most of you know loves his trains!! Well he has really gotten creative with them here lately and it has been so neat to watch what he comes up with. Here he was reading his Thomas book about going to the circus to his elephant when he was done he ask me to help him build a track with animals. Then he went and got his animals from his ark and built this track and carefully placed the animals around so all his trains could go to the circus. We had so much fun and it kept him entertained for a good while. He amazes me everyday with want he can do, it makes me wish I could record every minute of it so I never forget.

So far little Miss Tatum has these really big pretty blue eyes. We hope they will stay that way but you never know. Here she is being very alert and just a talking to us. In the pics where her mouth is open she is cooing and grunting very loudly I wish you can hear her cause it is so sweet. For the most part she is a very happy little girl but she does like to be held and yells at you if don't respond fast enough to her. I do believe we have a little diva on our hands.

I know I count my blessings everyday for my beautiful angels and my wonderful and loving hubby!! I got beautiful flowers sent to me early Sat morning which was a wonderful way to start an already hectic day and a gift cert. to go to the spa which I am very excited about!!! Even though right now I fill like most days I am a milk machine I wouldn't change a thing and love love being a mommy!!! We haven't really pushed him to hold her and thought when he was ready he would ask us well he did and we were curious to see how long it lasted and as you can see in the pics it didn't last that long. As soon as we put her in his arms he let go and said I don't like that her heavy. Poor sister she was a trooper.

I think he perfers her to be laying down and we do too. He got in the floor with her and was just a talking to her which was so sweet especially when he grabbed her little hand and started giving her kisses. He is such a sweet brother, we just hope the love continues.

So I tried my best to explain that even though she couldn't talk to him just yet she could watch him. We had her first doctors appointment on the 30th of April and it went very well. I was a little nervous hoping that her weight was ok due to me nursing I was hoping I was giving her enough. She had dropped down to 7lbs 13 oz when we left the hospital and now she was back up to her birth weight with a little extra 8lbs 5 oz and she is 21 inches long which I was so relieved by. Dr. Hardwick said everything looked great and she was perfect which made this momma very happy. Next time will not be so fun its when all the shots begin which I am not looking forward too but gotta do.

Here is Tatum at one week. She looks so different just in one week. She was so swollen at first and everyone thought she was so big but she really isn't she is really long and skinny and moves around a lot just like she did in the womb. We are hoping she will keep those big blue eyes and are curious if her hair will stay blonde. I guess time will tell.

Hello everyone, sorry it has been so long since I have updated however I have been experiencing some major computer issues with my blogger account. And I cannot figure it out plus my mind goes mental after trying to for so long. Everything has been going great at home we are all getting adjusted to a new routine and so far so good. Talan loves his sister still and the only issues so far is that he wakes up around 4 am when sister does and wants to go outside and play. Tatum is so sweet all she does is eats, sleeps and poops and does that very well!! As far as mommy and daddy we are doing pretty good as well just a little sleep deprived at times but that is ok. I have lots of pictures to share and hope to get those up soon. I can't believe we are going into our 3rd week already so I have lots to catch up on. Hope everyone is doing well and hopefully we will be up and running soon.

Here we are awaiting the arrival of our sweet baby girl. Dr. Stone wanted to induce me due to her getting to big so here we are. I had a lot of nerves/emotions about the whole thing and needless to say it was all over nothing cause it all worked out just fine and I couldn't have asked for an easier delivery. They started the potosain (sorry about the spelling) around 7:30 and within 30 minutes I had moved to 3 cent. and 50% aface and then at 12:50 she was here. Thanks to my wonderful husband and wonderful nurse Teri it all happened very easy and if my stinker doctor would have gotten there a little sooner she would have been here earlier but that is ok we love you anyway Dr. Stone.

And here she is.. a whopping 8lbs, glad we didn't wait another week!! Considering Talan was only 6lbs 8in this was a lot bigger for me but thats ok cause she is healthy and beautiful which all we could ask for. It really is a truly amazing experience bringing a new life into the world. We can't thank God enough for her and for Talan we are truly blessed and just hope and pray we do good as parents making this a wonderful world for them to live in.

After they got me all situated they let everyone come in and meet Miss Tatum. I think they all agree shes a keeper.

Getting her first bath. She was not very happy during all this but as soon as it was over she was great. We had a wonderful labor and delivery nurse Teri!! She was great and basically did everything but deliver her and she could have done that.

Talan meeting his new sister. He was unsure at first, I think with me in the bed and being in a strange place threw him off a little which it would me too but he did really well and eventually warmed up to me and to her. I had gotten him a doctors kit so he could help take care of me and sister which was great cause that is what got him to relax a little and he liked being the doctor. I know one thing we wouldn't have made it without my wonderful sister and crew. They made it so easy for him and us to make it through the weekend without any worries. As you can see in the picture him and Harrison had no problem making themselves right at home wrestling in the floor. When he left he gave us all hugs and kisses and said bye to his baby sister so I think all will be good at home in his normal enviroment.

Our doorbell rang around 7:30 Sunday morning and when Talan went to see who it was he found that the Easter Bunny had left him some great surprises and he was soo excited. He loved it all and kept saying thank you easter bunny thank you.

My attempt to get pictures didn't go very well but atleast I got a few even if they are a little crazy.

Last minute we decided to have everyone over we were so hoping to be at the hospital so we didn't make any plans but it turned out better that way. We had fun playing outside and what started as an Easter Egg hunt ended up in a game of kick ball which I have to say I hit a home run and our team won!!! And yes I ran the bases and still no baby.

We had fun dying our eggs the other night. Talan loved watching the colors form in the water and getting to stir it up. I think they turned out very pretty myself and we only got 1 crack in them which was pretty good I thought. We hope the Easter bunny likes them.

Our next stop on Saturday was the Fun Factory for Anna Kate's party. We were a little late so the kids didn't get to play that long but they sure had fun while they could. Last year Talan couldn't do any of this stuff by himself but I did not have to worry this year he handled it like a pro and loved every minute of it. When it came to cake and ice cream Talan got in and ate then was at the door ready to go back in. And stayed at the door until we left just hoping someone would let him in. Poor buddy I guess I will have to take him back so he can play longer. Thanks Anna Kate for having us we had a great time and hope you had a wonderful bday.

On Saturday we had 2 fun parties to attend. The first stop was Hannah's 1st birthday this is our friend Stacy's little girl. Its hard to believe she is already one. She looked so precious and I think she enjoyed her cake a little. Talan liked giving her hugs and as you can see in the bottom picture he enjoyed running around baby Sarah which was a little nerve racking for me but Lindsey told me to get use to it this is how it is with a baby around a very busy boy. A Day Out with Thomas and much much more....

A few weekends ago we headed out to see Thomas at the Dixie Railroad in Calera. It was a little chilly at first but the weather ended up being perfect. Talan was in awe for most of the morning. He was just looking around and if you asked him anything he wouldn't say a word, he was concentrating to much on everything that was going on. When we went into the tent where the tables were set up thats when he came alive. He honestly was in heaven.

The only way to get him to leave was going to look at these animals which I was so glad they were near the exit or we would have never left. He was very upset getting in the car until I handed him this little booklet with all the trains and things in it and then he was fine. He had such a great time and we are so glad we were able to take him. This was the one thing I wanted us to do together before baby sister got here and I am so glad we did.

After we left Thomas we went to eat and then to the park. We had Daddy with us so Talan got to do a lot of things at the park that Mommy doesn't let him do like the big slide at the top of the park (big no no) but not when Daddys around. It made me nausious to watch my little baby go up that big slide and then fly down it like it was no big deal. I can honestly say that will never take place with me!! After leaving the park we headed home where Matthew and Talan decided to go over the yard which made Talans day even better. He would ride on that thing all day if Matthew would let him and yes I know it is not the safest thing to do and I promise it doesn't happen all the time.
We had a great day and I am so glad the weather held up for us and that baby sister held off coming so that we could go. But now she needs to come on, we are so very ready for her to get here!!!!

Since Bama's disappearance we have been trying to bring Kody in some so he doesn't get lonely. So him and Talan have really became good buddies so when he comes in he is where ever Talan is and vice versa. One thing for sure nobody can mess with this boy if Kody is around.

Our Baby Shower...

A few weeks ago my sweet precious friends gave Tatum and I a wonderful baby shower. Everything was so nice and there were so many little details that really meant a lot from the mini dr peppers to the monogramed tablecloth. My girls are so good to me and I love them all to pieces!!! We got a mountain of sweet little girl clothes which was so wierd seeing at first since we've only had boy clothes up to this point. It was so fun going through everything from bows to booties, little girls have so much more to choose from. Thank you all who helped out and did so much to make everything so special for us!!! I loved it all!!!
Just a little note about the little rocking horse. That was the topper for my baby shower cake from when I had Talan and Mrs Sweet Veitch has held on to it this whole time so it was only fitting to have it at the shower. It held up really well but we all opted not to taste it. Thank you momma Veitch for all that you do you have always been my other mother and I love you for it!!!

This is one of our last pictures of our Bama Girl. She had been being a very bad dog lately getting out of the fence and eating our neighbors chickens. We had done several things to keep her in even changing her up which we hated doing. But the little stinker bolted about 2 weeks ago and she still hasn't come home. Even though she was driving us crazy here lately we never wanted anything to happen to her so we just hope and pray that either someone has got her and is being good to her or she is just out roaming sewing her wild oats. No matter what we do miss her and hope she is ok. So if anyone sees a roaming golden thats about 7-8 years old be good to her and let us know!!!

A couple of weekends ago we went to celebrate John Thomas's bday at his house and we had such a great time. It was so nice to see all of our friends its been to long since we have seen everyone. It took Talan a little while to realize that we were not at Thomas the choo-choos bday but once he played on the thomas toy he was fine. Playing Playball
At school we have this really fun program called Playball that comes out and does different sports w/ the kids. Cara got Ms Victoria to do Bryson's bday at the park and it was so much fun. Talan just loves playball so he was so excited to see her there and to do all the fun things she had planned.

Talan loved this park he played so hard and was so brave doing all the things that I thought he was to little for but he proved me wrong. I just knew running around this park would have put me in labor but it didn't oh well atleast we had a good time.

So Collin sorry this is so late but here it is. We made a short but very fun visit to Tunica to celebrate Collin's 3rd bday back in January and had a great time!!! This was Talan's first time at Chuck E Cheese, needless to say he can do without Chucke, stick with the games and be just fine.

After the party we headed to Collins house to play and boy was it cold but that didn't stop our boys from getting outside. Luckily the daddies were there and the mommies got to stay in. He loved being at Collins house and really found Maggie their dogs crate to be very fun. I know this was back in January but Talan still talks about going to visit Collin and that it was so fun.

This was also another first for Talan to stay in a hotel and he did really good. The Horseshoe is a really nice place and best of all they have a great breakfast buffet. Even though it was a short visit we had a lot of fun and hopefully when baby sister gets here and things settled down we can do it again. Thanks guys for having us we had a great time.

BIG BOY BED

A few weeks ago we got Talans big boy bed in and the mattress and we thought it was going to be a long transition period to get him adjusted but boy did we think wrong!!! He is so excited about his room and his bed. Before we could even get sheets on it he took a 3 hour nap in it so that was a good sign from the start. And he has slept in it since and has done really really well!! So that is what we have been doing the last few weeks is getting his room ready and moving all his stuff out of the nursery and getting it ready for baby sister. Both rooms are looking good we just have to find a few things to make it more their own and then I will take pictures and share with all of you. We hope all is well with everyone and I will be updating with lots of fun pictures soon.

We hope everyone had a wonderful valentines!! Talan got a special heart shaped doughnut from Krispy Kreme and as you can see was very happy about it. He loves some Krispy Kreme!!! And his special prize was Berdie the Bus from Thomas which he was so excited about. You would of thought it was gold!! We had a nice day at home and then his Pop Pop and Me Maw watched him so Matthew and I could go to dinner. However due to the over popluar demand at all the restaurants we changed our plan s a little but really enjoyed our night out. (you can tell we hadn't gone out on a holiday night in a while and now we see why) So, we visited our friends RJ and Jennifer and then picked up Mexican on our way in and had dinner at home.
And yes I promise Talan has more jammies it just seems like these are always the ones he has on when I get out the camera.

Our good friends RJ and Jennifer welcomed their 3rd little boy to the world on Friday. We got a chance to go visit on Sat night and am so glad we did. He is sooo precious and I think it made it all the more real for Matthew and I that we are about to have a new little one as well. I don't think Matthew has lost his touch cause he had baby Jax snug as a bug and he even got a little sad when Matthew put him down. Anyway we are so excited for them and just know that his big brothers Aiden and Austin are going to have so much fun with him!! Congrats guys we are so happy for you!!!

A while back we started a tradition of having pancakes,bacon and sausage on Sunday mornings. Its our one morning that we have nothing going on and we can just enjoy cooking and playing. Well Talan being the chef that he is has joined in on the cooking so while we are cooking he cooks in his little kitchen. He kept coming in and getting the plates from the cabinet but neither of us was paying much attention. So when he yelled out DADDY,MOMMY READY!! EAT!!! We looked to see that he had set the table (the floor) and was done with his cooking and it was time for us to eat. I thought is was the cutest thing and he was so proud of himself and the best thing he even cleaned it up. Its amazing what they learn from us even when we don't realize it.
